Finally May is here! May is the month when spring really shows its arrival, also there is some extra days off work here in Norway. People are beginning to gather outside in parks and coltsfoot appears. The streets are getting clean and ready for the National Day, the 17th of May. Although I have taken the summer haircut already, is it always fun with new hair accessorizes. This time I crocheted a simple and elegant hairband that fits nicely in the season we are going into now.

Materiales:
50 g Baby Alpaca Silk
2 inches white scrunchy
Crochet hook  2.5 mm /US C

NOTE: This pattern is written in American English. There are different terms for crocheting in British and American English.

How you do it:
We start with crochet a flower chain. The length of the ribbon depends on the size of your head, but remember that you need some length space at the end for the elastic scrunchy.

Ch 4 on hook size 2.5 mm/US C with Baby Alpaca Silk and form a ring with 1 dc in 1st ch. This is the ring we will work out from for each flower. Now you should crochet a flower leaf ​​as follows: 3 ch , 2 dc in the ring, 3 ch and 1 sl st. Each flower consists of three flower petals .

*When you have finished the first flower; crochet 11 ch, 1 dc in the 4th ch from the hook , 3 ch , 1 dc in the ring and one chain stitch in between two spells at the last crocheted flowers leaf. Turn the work and crochet 1 dc in ring, 3 ch , 1 sl st in the ring. Then you crochet two common flower petals as described above. Repeat from * until the chain is as long as you want.

Pull the thread through the last stitch. Sew on some inches with elastic scrunchy at both ends of flower chain.
